Male Fertility

Did you know… 40% of fertility problems can be attributed to a sperm factor?

Male fertility is just as important as female fertility in the journey towards conception.

Sperm count is widely recognised as the major indicator of fertility in men.  The World Health Organisation (WHO) has defined a ‘cut-off point’ for fertility of 15 million sperm per mL of semen.  A sperm count lower than this concentration can indicate male infertility.

Babystart® Sperm Test

The Babystart® Sperm Test is a rapid diagnostic test of sperm concentration in semen.  A simple test which can be done in the privacy of home, it can assess if a man’s sperm count is greater or less than the World Health Organisation’s cut-off point for fertility (15 million sperm/mL of semen).
